Sir Richard Branson pioneered the dream travel in the space
Finally, the pursuit of long 17 years is over. Richard Branson, the British billionaire and a commercial astronaut landed safely in the morning after his dream expedition for more than an hour in space. Thus, the billionaire pioneered in space travel leaving Jeff Bezos behind.
Earlier, he boarded on the Virgin Galactic's Rocket Plane Unity and reached an altitude of 282,000 feet or 85 kilometers above the surface. Six professional crews of Virgin Galactic, including Branson, successfully landed after the trip in space as planned. They are two rocket pilots, Dave McKay and Michael Masucci, and three mission specialists, Beth Moses, Colin Bennett and Sirisha Brandla.
After returning to Earth, Sir Richard Branson was given the Wing of the Commercial Astronaut along with three mission specialists by Chris Hadfield, a former commander of Space and a Canadian astronaut.
Then at the press conference, billionaire Branson described the whole tour as a 'magical' experience.
"I have been dreaming of this moment since I was a child," he said. “But to be honest, no preparation can match closer to the experience of the view of the Earth from space.”
A week before his 71st birthday, astronaut Sir Richard Branson offered himself the best gift of his life. He plans to start selling tickets for space tourism from next year.
